Brad’s career in and connection to independent school began as a student at the Taft School. During his time at Taft, Brad was the student leader of the school’s admission committee and also a part of the school’s varsity soccer, hockey and lacrosse teams serving as the captain of all three of those teams in his senior year. After graduating from Taft School in 1999, Brad earned a B.A. in history with a minor in education from Colgate University. While at Colgate, Brad was a four-year member of the school’s DIV I men’s hockey team, served as a captain during his senior year and was the winner of the Stephen J. Riggs Scholarship.

Following graduation and a brief stint in the world of finance, Brad began his career in education at Brunswick School in Greenwich, CT where he taught English, served as an advisor and coached JV soccer and Varsity hockey. The following year, Brad and his wife Linda, began their careers in independent school at Berkshire School in Sheffield, MA. During his first years, Brad was an admission officer, taught Modern European History, served as dorm head and coached soccer, hockey and lacrosse. Over the course of his next nine years at Berkshire, Brad’s work steadily began focusing more on admission work, and for his last six years at Berkshire he served as the Director of Financial Aid/Associate Director of Admission in addition to continuing to teach and coaching the Girls’ Varsity soccer team and Boys’ Varsity hockey team.

In 2013 Brad was hired as the Director of Admission and Strategic Initiatives at The White Mountain School in Bethlehem, NH. Over the course of the next three years, Brad created an admission and marketing strategy that helped the school reach and then exceed, tuition revenue and enrollment targets each year. During his time at White Mountain, the school saw a significant increase in applicants, was able to more than triple the number of full pay domestic students enrolled as well as reducing and balancing the percentage of international students.

In 2016 Brad was appointed Director of Admission at Northwood School in Lake Placid, NY. During his five years at Northwood, Brad helped to diversify the student population by increasing the number of students of color from below 5% during his first year to just above 35% during his final year as well as helping the school reach the highest level of gender equality in their history during his last year. During his time at Northwood, Brad also led the creation and implementation process for several new programmatic offerings at Northwood including the boys soccer program, the dance program and the school’s Learning Center.
